Overview
Aaron Dewald is a country acoustic performer playing taprooms, breweries, private events, and festivals around Kutztown, PA. Inquiries used to come in through Facebook messages, Instagram DMs, and phone calls, with shows announced as one-off social posts. There was no single place a venue manager or fan could land on to see what he sounds like, when he's playing next, and how to hire him.
The Problem
Inquiries were scattered across three or four inboxes, which meant leads that sat for days before being seen. Posting a new show meant posting it to Facebook, posting it to Instagram, sending texts, and hoping people remembered. Sharing a sample clip with a venue meant digging through a camera roll for an old phone video. There was no public calendar of past shows to point a new venue at, and no way for a fan who'd seen him live once to find out where he was playing next without following him on the right platform.
The Solution
A five-page public site (Home, About, Samples, Events, Inquire) backed by a custom admin panel where Aaron manages everything himself. The events page lists upcoming and past shows with flyer, venue, date, time, and a link to the venue's site. Each show has custom share tags, so when Aaron shares a show link to Facebook or texts it to a friend, it unfurls with the flyer image and the right title — no more uploading the flyer separately to every platform. The samples page is a mixed audio/video gallery with a custom two-column layout that balances tall video clips against shorter audio players so the page never looks lopsided. Aaron can upload either format, set sort order, and reorder the gallery from the admin without anyone's help. The inquiry form captures booking requests with event date, type, and details, and routes them into an admin inbox that defaults to the "new" filter so nothing gets lost. Aaron sees every lead in one place and marks them as he works through them. The CMS covers events, samples, and inquiries with file uploads going straight to object storage. Video uploads are transcoded server-side to web-friendly formats so playback works the same on iPhone, Android, and desktop.
The Outcome
Bookings now land in one inbox instead of three. Posting a new show takes one form submission instead of a round of Canva-plus-three-social-posts, and the resulting link unfurls cleanly anywhere it's shared. Venues that ask "do you have anything I can listen to?" get a single URL instead of a text thread of phone videos. Aaron updates the site himself — no developer involvement after launch.
